这对箱应该是两分频，左下角的单元是被动辐射器，和Ditton 15一样。
最近搞了台Luxman小合并推SL6，很细腻温暖的声音！低音部虽软，却有丰富的泛音，有种很舒服的包围感...

Is there any chance that I can buy a pair of SL6 woofers? I have blown my SL6S. I love the speaker so much and could not listen to others.

hey man, i have a pair of SL6s for sell soon, which country are you in? i am in NZ and might be able to do international shipping. see page 19 for photo. Thanks....

Thanks for the offer. I have got 2 pairs of SL6s. Unfortunately, my amp blown a pair and the acquired SL6s also giving problems. The woofer rattles when dynamic peaks.
The seller was not honest, the pair he sold to me undergone modification. The magnet has been replaced. The speakers sounded more transparent, faster and thinner. I do not like the way they sound. It is hard to move on to other speakers.
May I ask which speaker will you get after you parted Celestion?

Thanks for your link.
I would prefer to buy off the woofer and replace the faulty one. It is easier and cheaper.

hey, i am using a pair of SL6(copper) now, so, need to let the SL6s go some time, it's hard to find a replacement woofer for SL6s but i will keep a eye out for you. Thanks

Please NOTE: the SL6 woofer is different from SL6s, it's harder to drive. if your damage speakers are SL6s, i would suggest you look for SL6s not SL6. hope that help....

Are you sure? I thought they were the same,  the tweeter is of different variant. Copper tweeter is the culprit for power demand. I know that my quest for a pair of woofer is near impossible. Somehow, better try than never. I saw a pair of metal tweeter auction in ebay which is also very hard to come by.

It is very difficult to lay my hand on a pair of SL6. Nobody is letting go but I got the impression that there are plentiful in China. Do not know if they shipped to China back in 80es. My first impression of SL6s is the roll off high. Later, I got myself accustomed the behavior. I can't live with modern speakers which seems to emphazise transparency and details. They called too much attention to themselves. In fact, I found myself very few speakers I can live with, to name some, Spendor and Harbeth.

I guess that Plinius/Perreaux+ Celestion = match in heaven.

If my search is fruitless, I might acquire a pair of Spendor SP2/3  which I think would sound close to Celestion minus the bass. Any comment on Spendor?

sounds like you are quite in to the 'old English' sounds like me...... however the SL6 are really hard to find!! i have been in NZ for 6years, only seen 3 SL6/SL6s for sell, i bought 2 of them. keep finger cross see if i can fine  a pair of woofer for you.
