The Goldmund Telos 250 is the new mono amplifier of the Goldmund line that replaces the Telos 200. It features a new and larger aluminum chassis with better Mechanical Grounding, offers a higher power and uses the new capacitors developed from the Telos 5000 to considerably improve its Driver Control. It includes a Telos circuit and built in digital input, a built in D/A Alize 5 converter. The good news is that in spite of all the improvements made, the Telos 250 is sold at the same price as the Telos 200, making it the best value for money power amplifier.
A new look: its radiator located all along the right side of the unit gives it a brand new look but you will notice that the front panel remains faithful to the "face" of the Telos 200. Its chassis is fully built in aluminum. Since the mechanical assembly of the Telos 200 is fully automated, the unit shows an incredibly precise joint positioning and the visual perfection required in all high end components.

Time distortion remains the most detrimental type of distortion introduced by analogue electronics, because it represents a form of signal degradation that does not exist in real life. This figure is rarely published by high-end audio manufacturers due to the poor results achieved by most designs today.

Thermal Grounding construction: the power output Mosfets are assembled on a large aluminum heat-transmitter to achieve an ultra-fast heat transfer and so limit temperature-related dynamic losses. The isolators used are in specially-treated Kapton, the thinnest and best isolators providing the highest thermal transfer rate.
Ultra-fast power supply design: 4 built-in high-speed transformers, new rectifiers and low impedance capacitors are used in the design in order to provide the fastest possible signal amplification without power-supply-induced contamination.
