UB+ dB1 Doublebass: the spherical Bluetooth speaker that lets you see your music

Music has the power to move and inspire, to affect our emotions as much as our bodies. This has never been truer with Bluetooth speakers, as you can take – and share – your tunes with you wherever you go. But what if you could literally see the music pulsating from your speaker? Ace of bass
The dB1 Doublebass features a pair of 5.2-inch passive radiators that are three times larger than the speaker driver. Fire it up, and you’ll see these double passive radiators pulsate as they play the music. These symmetrical oscillations are the result of increased pressure from within the speaker. Not only does it look cool, making the dB1 Doublebass a showpiece you’ll want to show your friends, it also results in a deep, resounding bass that really adds to the music.
But it’s not just about bass depth, but clarity too. Because these symmetrical movements work in unison, they minimise the microphonic effects that cause audio distortion and unwanted noise, resulting in a cleaner, more solid sound.

The UB+ dB1 Doublebass (which is designed and engineered in Singapore) is eye-catching before you even turn it on, thanks to its elegant spherical design. It’s a look that’s as natural as the planet we inhabit, one that makes the speaker equally at home taking pride of place on a desktop or taking centre stage on a shelf.
But this design isn’t purely for aesthetic purposes – UB+ chose it for functional reasons, too.
Because the shape is perfectly symmetrical from all angles, all points are equal in dimension from its centre, giving it an innate ability to amplify sound across a wide spectrum of the soundscape with perfectly poised balance and no distortion. Soundwaves reverberate most evenly from a spherical form, giving the audio reproduction a cleanness and clarity that’s sure to delight fans of all musical genres.
Joining the passive radiators are a 90mm customised woofer and a 35mm silk dome tweeter, providing 60W of power, while the ultra-wide frequency range of 40Hz – 20kHz will do justice to all manner of music styles.
Through the UB+ Seek app, you can wirelessly connect the dB1 Doublebass to up to eight devices, including smartphones, tablets, TVs, projectors, laptops, and pretty much anything that uses Bluetooth. You can even pair it to up to eight other UB+ speakers, creating a much more powerful sound. And because it uses Bluetooth 5.3, it has greater range and a more robust wireless connection, so you can listen uninterrupted.
Want to go really granular? Just fine-tune the sound yourself using the intuitive UB+ Seek app. You can tweak the equaliser exactly how you want in order to personalise the audio, and set sound profiles for each room and device. It’s a Bluetooth speaker that’s as personal as you.
Always with you
While the dB1 Doublebass’ machined polycarbonate frame will look at home in the home or office, it’s equally adept for listening on the go. The soft leather carry handle, combined with its light weight, make it perfect for taking with you, whether you’re having a picnic, a day at the beach, a party at a friend’s or just moving to another room in the house. It is waterproof to IPX5, meaning it’ll withstand a sustained water jet spray, so you don’t have to worry if it starts raining or you spill water on it.
The battery will last 20 hours before needing recharging too, giving most people a full weekend’s listening time. And with up to two weeks on standby, it’ll be ready for action whenever you need it.
The dB1 Doublebass comes in glossy white, shiny black and matte metallic grey colourways, and has an anodised aluminium stand. On-device controls are handled by the brushed aluminium rotary switch, while the Fibonacci-patterned grille accentuates the sheer quality and level of detailing on this UB+ flagship.

；后来又买了一只二手的华为sound x2021，在工作地宿舍的卧室里听音乐和语音节目，兼做电脑喇叭，感觉也非常棒，最近这个音箱被一位好友借去看电影用。
Ub+蓝牙音箱的表现的确令人感到惊奇，小小的球体居然能够有相当不错的音效，而且集音箱、功放和蓝牙接收器、U盘读卡器于一身，称得上简便携带的HI-FI辅助利器。谢谢您的关注和支持！
