终于在不温不火的等待中迎来的这个家伙，一只细长的包装箱实在和家庭影院联系不到一起，N.1只的箱子，厚实的功放……这些才是家庭影院应有的家伙，当真能进化的如此之快吗???

Popular Mechanics是我最喜欢的杂志之一，能够获得大众机械师的奖项能说明一点，就是有很多美国家庭对于这个东西的喜爱和认同，当然，美国人民在家庭影院方面和我国人民是无法比的，大多数的美国人民还是身处水深火热之中眼巴巴的看着我们从农村到城市的普及……

CES的奖项就不用多说了，这么有设计的东西获奖意料之中了。

外型属于比较含蓄的前卫，不至于比身价更高的平板电视现得更突出，能比较容易地融为一体，即便单独摆放，也能算上一件设备，正面和两侧都处理得不错，顶面稍显简单，但是还是择机打上了YAMAHA的logo……

YSP-1的名称是The Digital Sound Projector ，译为数字投音机，概念就是将每个声道的声音投射到所需要的位置，而不用在那个位置设置单独的扬声器，从而将家庭影院中烦乱的搭配/摆位/布线等问题迎刃而解，真的吗???后话……

对于原理上的形容，是这样说明的：

YSP-1通过先进的数字投音技术可以精确的聚焦多声道音线的发送方向。利用墙面反射向外发送声音。音线会在器材前方像平缓的波浪一样传播。同时数字声音处理方式控制每个驱动单元的声音延迟。音线的发射方向就可以被精确的定位了。因此聆听者可听到从正面、两测以及后部发出的声音。音效就如同音箱系统营造出的真正5.1声道环绕声－－根本不需要另加任何其他音箱。

projecting/reflecting sound beams

The time delay of each speaker driver is controlled by a Digital Sound Projection circuit, enabling the system to project "beams" of sound which are precisely aimed for optimum surround sound effect. The direct and reflected sound waves produce true multi-channel surround sound.

High separation two-channel sound can also be reporduced by superimposing multiple beams of sound as pictured here.

在有限的面板上用一个兰光的LCD多功能显示屏显示出工作状态~

The Digital Sound Projector rear panel offers 2 optical and 1 coaxial digital inputs, 2 analog inputs, subwoofer output, and RS-232C interface for custom applications.
后面的面板提供2个光纤输入/一个同轴数字输入，2组模拟输入，重低音输出和1个RS-232接口。

在应用上，你可以像他们一样挂在平板电视的下面，从而节省至少2平方米的空间放置音箱和功放，在北京，你就等于节省了大约16000元的房款^^

在房间里，你可以通过遥控器选择这样几种聆听模式：
1、Five-Beam: All five channels - L, R, C, Ls and Rs -are given separate orientations. Sound is beamed off the walls to create the effect of a surround system with rear speakers.

2、Stereo: The left and right woofers, with the multiple beam speakers acting as tweeters, reproduce the effect of conventional stereo speakers.

3、Three-Beam: Three beams are produced: L+ Ls, R+ Rs and C. A surround sound effect is created by reflecting the sound off the walls.

4、Stereo + Three-Beam: The L and R channels are produced using stereo mode while C, Ls and Rs are produced using beaming. This mode is effective when the Digital Sound Projector placed in a corner.
