Threshold（美国精神）这个牌子，老烧友知道的多些，新入门的可能不太清楚。它是与马克、KRELL一样属于HI-END级的品牌。现在的PASS LABS的老板Nelson Pass就是原美国精神Threshold的创始人之一。Bladelius也曾经在该公司担任过设计师。Threshold 的器材是发烧友梦寐以求的名器，其甲类巨无霸后级醇厚柔美的音色令人着迷，美国精神的特点就是石机胆味，推力很足是推丹拿雨后初晴贵族 ATC 乐爵士3 / 5等等的利器

The Threshold S/200 A/AB STASIS amplifier was introduced in 1989 with a production run until 1992 and an original selling price of $2,950.00. It is an evolved member of the Stasis family of amplifiers and is still regarded as one of the gems of the Thresholds past. Sonically the S/200 is outstanding. It provides plenty of power with a level of sonic detail and elegance that many of today's high dollar amps have a hard time matching. It is a highly musical amp, rivaling the musicality of many tubeamps, yet without the low end sloppiness and rolled of highs that usually accompany them
