Bottom Line:
I have owned the SS-M7B speakers for years and they still bring a smile to listeners faces. They are a relatively easy load to drive and of average efficiency. The build quality of the cabinet is excellent and very solid. The drivers are well made and predate the Peerless/Scanspeak-China merge. The woofers are mostly identical to those used in the WIlson Audio Watt/Puppy 5.1 and 6. This speaker distinguishes itself from others by giving classical music back what was equalized and lost in the mixing sessions in Euro studios by deaf recording technicians... Bass. Classical recordings played back through the SS-M7Bs are no longer piercing but instead full bodied, powerful and most of all, well balanced. Strings are large and palpable, and their is no pain. You can be listening at almost any angle and you can hear the full spectrum.
