I can't say enough about these speakers. One of the all time greats and very hard to find, especially in this condition. The guy I bought em from bought them new in 1980 and treated them better than his wife - and he treated his wife pretty good (so he said). Very, very minor wear scratches on wood-like veneer - like you'd find on a new one that had just been shipped. Comes with the optional riser stands to give you the best sound. The wood grilles are perfect except for a minor scratch on the bottom. The sound is fabulous. I had a Pioneer Spec 1 pre-amp along with a Sansui BA-3000 (170 wpc) power amp running these guys for weeks. With a r2r copy of the Doors "Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine" I felt like I was sitting in with the band. If you don't buy these, they're going in my studio. 15 day warranty. Speaker cloth is perfect and the surrounds are cloth - not foam. Will last forever.
Fantastic wood-look veneer finish and wood grilles. Absolutely babied except for one small 1/4 inch chip in the veneer of one speaker - lower rear. Two small 1/8 inch chips on the top back of the other speaker. Very hard to see,
You won't find any better unless you find some new in the box. 2-2-6. For all of those of you who wanted these speakers (and there were dozens), someone finally closed the deal at the listed price. Sorry. I'll leave this page up as a reference for specifications or until I get another pair.
