查到一篇老外的评论:大家参考一下,总比上面纠缠在NX HX字眼上有价值;800和710是2代产品,即便HX是高级的。
On paper they look very similar. The HX800 has 200Hz motion flow pro , while the NX710 only has 100Hz motion flow pro. So the HX800 might better handle sports, gaming ect. But BD play back and typical movie viewing would probably be almost identical. (the super anal amon us might pick the difference)
Also the NX710 does not seem to have the dynamic edge lit LED system, only the static edge lit LED backlighting. So black levels might be slightly better in the HX800 (again, you might never notice the difference in most viewing situations?)
The NX710 has wifi built in, where the HX800 would require the purchase of SONY's USB adapter or an ethernet cable.
I prefer the monolithic design of the NX710, but I'm still quite happy with the asthetics of my HX800. There are definatily less fortunate looking TVs out there, lol.
As an owner of the HX800 I can say that PQ, black levels, and overall performance is awesome. And being that the two TVs are so similar, I can assume that the NX710 should perform just as well.
If the sets are available at the same price then this is how I would look at it.
I think the HX800 wins out for PQ due to the dynamic LED backlighting system and the 200Hz motionflow pro. But the NX710 wins out on looks and conectivity options with its monlithic design and wifi built in.
Both come with the 3d entertianment pack free via redemption (about $900 worth to buy separatily) So it makes them pretty good value. And the way the market is you should be able to haggle for a really good price at the moment. I saved almost $1000 off RRP when I bought my HX800 last month!

I cant really provide much input although i am eyeing off the 55" NX810. I have however noticed some comments on whirlpool about the 3D on Sony's (not sure exact models) sometimes flicking. Trying to suss that out more as not read it anywhere else but yeah, something to keep an eye out for.
I did notice sight flickering during 3d playback, but its only very occasionly in large, bright white areas of particular scenes. Usually 3d playback is excellent, and of all the TVs that I auditioned the most injoyable to watch. Cross talk is non-existant and motion is smooth. Even after 2hrs of 3d movie viewing or several hrs of 3d gaming, I didn't notice any of the symtoms of eye strain or fatigue. That will probably vary from person to person though. |
