The <b>Quested AP500</b> is the smallest of a range of three amplifiers and brings the AP series to a wider range of users. Like the AP800 and AP1300, the AP500 features complementary class AB bi-polar outputs with unique floating drive stage providing exceptional sonic performance. The design also provides for soft start power on sequencing with mains in rush protection and sophisticated monitoring of load, temperature and other operating parameters to ensure safe operation at all times. Protection of the loudspeaker is provided for by the internal audio limiters, which only come into the signal path during limiting and are in-audible during normal operation.
The AP500 provides an output per channel of 300W RMS into 8 ohms and 500W RMS into 4 ohms.

The unique current driven drive stage adds an extra dimension to the bass dynamics, ensuring very accurate reproduction of transients coupled with a natural 'openness' not usually found in amplifiers of this type. The sophisticated microcontroller ensures that this performance is maintained over a wide range of temperatures and loads.
The heatsinks have been specifically designed to maximize efficient heat exchange allowing the AP1300 to be run flat out, all night in the most arduous of conditions, such as in a hot discotheque or night club, without shutting down or cutting out.
