关于E145又有新证据:
The current iteration of the E145 has a cloth m-roll surround that is epoxy coated. The earlier version like Thom's has a one piece cone-surround that is darker and heavier which makes the surround treatment appear to be shinier.
It ain't an 130A...it'll kick a 130A's ass.
Get this part. The E145 is as close as one can get to the MUCH HIGHLY VALUED and venerable short coil deep gap 150-4 used in the Paragon. It is the driver that was used in the Everest I....JBL's "Statement" speaker system of the day. A 150-4H IS an E145-8.
It is truly one of the best, most efficient, and clean....due the motor topology....and versatile drivers JBL has ever produced. A Paragon reproduction would do quite well with a pair of these
Does it have the extension that a 2235H has? No.
But in a face to face duel, the E145 will flat out kill a 2235H in every category other than Fs.
JBL stopped making the E145 because the metal motor parts got too expensive to produce, and the Cabaret 46xx Series was discontinued, as well as my favorite legacy line that built the JBL house...the Musical Instrument series...D/K/E.
That legacy of drivers has done more for the early Hi-End and Pro Audio industry than any other line of speakers in history.
That legacy of drivers was THE BIRTH of HI-END AUDIO....period.
I get disgusted when people disrespect these drivers out of ignorance.
But in a face to face duel, the E145 will flat out kill a 2235H in every category other than Fs.
如果E145和2235H面对面决斗的话,会把2235H杀得片甲不留!!!
