Motionflow XR则是另一项变化幅度很大的技术。索尼这次把LED背光扫描技术全面引入到过去的Motionflow之中，再结合液晶本身的倍速驱动技术，分别实现多档等同于传统倍速驱动的效果。因此它的名称也就变成了Motionflow XR 800Hz/400Hz/200Hz。
但是Motionflow XR并没有使用同一种背光扫描技术，而是按照级别的高低进行了定制。

最高级的Motionflow XR 800Hz只有旗舰机型HX920配备，采用200Hz液晶驱动+条状背光扫描方式。由于背光扫描的方式和传统CRT逐行扫描的方式很相像，因此结合面板200Hz驱动后可以获得很高的动态清晰度。
    Motionflow XR 400Hz则采用了另一种方式。它在200Hz液晶驱动的基础上将背光扫描改成半屏扫描方式，背光会按照“上半屏、下半屏、全黑屏”的方式轮流交替开关，这种工作方式大致相当于在标准的200Hz插过渡帧的基础上又插入了黑帧，通过人眼的视觉残留效应提升画面的动态清晰度感受。
    而Motionflow XR 100Hz则是100Hz液晶倍速+半屏背光扫描技术的融合。所谓半屏背光扫描就是将屏幕后侧的背光分为上下两等分，进行交替开关。这种方式的效果虽然比前两者要弱，但实现的成本更低，作为比较基础的应用也是可以理解的。

如果没有记错，索尼的Motionflow技术大约是在2008年初诞生的。从2008年到2011年大约3年左右的时间里，Motionflow技术虽然也经历一些变化，但是客观的说并没有真正意义上的改进。而这次升级不仅让Motionflow从数字上看“连升数级”，也让它的实际效果再次有了实质性提升，同时800Hz的的Motionflow XR也在不经意间创造了目前液晶电视倍速技术的新纪录。
    此外，Motionflow XR还利用LED背光源高亮度的特性，对开启Motionflow XR功能后的画面进行亮度补偿，以避免因为背光扫描带来的亮度下降问题。在这一点上，索尼依然考虑的很周到。







而真正的亮点其实要数X-Reality PRO引擎。这款引擎在X-Reality单芯片的基础上增加了一块名为“XCA7”的高端图像处理芯片，有点时下流行的“双核”意思。XCA7芯片具备极高的数据处理能力：首先它可以对高清信号中的逐帧画面都做到优化处理，这个优化处理基于一套复杂的流程，大致原理是分析信号中每个像素点的上下左右，以及前后帧像素点的运动状况，再把得到的结果和数据库中的数万种图像模板进行逐一比对和修正，从而最终输出高解析度的信号。





在降噪技术方面，X-Reality和X-Reality PRO的性能则基本相同，都具备四种模式的降噪技术。不过在色彩再现方面，X-Reality PRO则继续保持着较大幅度的领先优势。得益于专属的SBM-V（SuperBitMapping）技术，X-Reality PRO引擎可以将标准的8bit信号以14bit的高位进行处理，从而实现平滑的色彩过渡效果。

SONY的工作人员说，价格和去年差不多，例如820，应该和去年NX810刚出时的价格差不多。

长虹的机子无论在什么时候都不可能挤进“最佳画质”的候选机型名单的，死心吧你！
