转自avforums的一个用户的评价，在使用了几部机子后对比得出结论denon 3800比09FD略胜一筹。
懒人就捡些重点说一下
音频部分：低频两个旗舰都很出色，主要差距在高频上，3800更好一些
视频部分：画质都很出色，denon略微深些，动态画面denon略好
后面也有人质疑，但差距主要是音频和动态画面，所以可惜不能贴图来说明
个人印象denon高端的机子向来素质一流，先锋强在性价比。这篇文章比较详细，但仅供参考，希望能有更权威评测比较。

Hi All,
Just thought I would feed back my findings with you, yesterday I spent some time with Steve at TLC Broadcast, I wanted to buy a Projector, and look at Blue Ray Player Differences.
Well we started looking at the Pio LX08, which was I felt better than my PS3 in fine detail which I had sort of expected, although I think Sony have done an admirable job on keeping it up to date as well as being a games console.
Moving on to the Denon 2500, this was where I started to see some bigger differences, the Sound was the first thing, the Bass was more controlled, and the fine detail on the higher frequencies was there, which I couldn't pick up before. The picture had more depth to it also.
Moving onto the LX91 this was another visible step forward, the audio was amazing, the whole thing was so well balanced, we were watching excerpts from I Robot and Mama Mia mainly. The description I gave it was mellow probably smooth would be better, because up to that point I felt the audio had been good but this was a major step forward. Picture quality was also excellent. The only reservation I had was that I felt the high frequencies were a tad harsh. I must admit at this point the audio and picture was so good I did not think it could be improved upon.
Finally the Denon 3800, this was for me the best of all, I thought the 91 was ace but this was to my ears/eyes anyway mind blowing, the steering was amazing, the control of the high and low frequencies was incredible, it brought the audio together in such a cohesive way that the sound would immerse you. The sound was just that little bit better, extremely well controlled. I felt the high frequencies were ever so slightly harsh on the 91, they were perfect with the 3800.
I felt the picture was superb, the main area which I felt the 3800 was better, was that it seemed to cope with fast motion slightly better. Otherwise I would rate the 91 equal on picture. The picture on both units 91 and 3800 had an edge in the depth of the image over the LX08, the difference between the 2500 and the 3800 was harder to see. But I felt the audio was better, and the colour and depth of the image were slightly better too.
All in all the machines all produced good results, but there are subtle differences, whether they are worth the money, only the individual can decide. I walked out with the 3800, plus some other bits
The only thing I would add is that I was doing the tests using a Denon 4308, so the result may have been different on a different AV Amp.
I would also like to thank Steve for his time, patience and enthusiasm in which he carried out the demo.

Sorry, no definite answer there... Speaking of my guests I held themprisoner for awhile today but released them with gift cards to BB andMarshalls (for the two ladies). I also raffled off the BD35 which thewinner gave to the other guest since he already had one. That was agentleman move! 
I appreciated them taking this serious. 
For my personal taste in Audio I preferred the Pioneer 09FD. Not by alot. It was close and the Denon 3800 was only a point away. The S5000ESwas only a point and a half away! There really is not a loser here.Bottom line, they all create ear candy. 
).I know I let the cat out of the bag early but it deserves to be free.The Denon 3800 and S5000ES are still top notch performers but thelatest 09FD has them beat. I think the 48 bit color upconversion and 16bit video are the key players. Of course the Marvell Qdeo chip doesn'thurt either. For Blu ray and regular SD dvds. The Sony S5000ES andDenon are both still to close to call. If I had to take one I would gofor the S5000ES (between it and the 3800). The Superbit Mapping featureis cool and does give it a slight edge. And it is very reliable. Ofcourse without doing any tweaks the 3800 and S5000ES are a dead tie. Atleast that is how I would call it. In my intro I mentioned about howthese latest higher end models are coming with more and more picadjustments. That is what separates them from the middle pack. Beingable to calibrate them definitely gives them the edge. They have moreadjustments than the majority of displays on the market. Especially th3800 and 09FD! As for the middle pack they are all close but not on thesame level. Of course depending on your display the difference could befrom slight to significant. And smaller screens make it even harder. Iam mainly referring to 1080p/24 Blu ray. The middle pack players do notcome close with SD dvds. The 09FD, 3800 and S5000ES are at least alevel or two higher. My pick is the 09FD. My guests were literallyblown away with the SD dvd quality. You could easily argue that some ofthe better SD dvds look like real HD! And again all of the big 3 arevery good with SD dvds and anyone would be more than satisfied witheither or. And again (I know I just said that) there are absolutely nolosers here. I for one am excited to see such amazing pic Q these days.I can't imagine how much better it can get from here!
