Hornets Rout Kings in Historic Opener
The Hornets and Kings tipped off the first-ever NBA regular-season game in Oklahoma CIty on Tuesday night.

The Kings got off on the wrong foot to start the 2005-06 season, dropping their opener 93-67 to the Hornets in Oklahoma City. Peja Stojakovic (18 points) and Shareef Abdur-Rahim (14) could not lift Sacramento past the swarming Hornets, who led by as many as 28 points in the game. The Kings hope to turn things around against the Rockets on Wednesday night in Houston.
